「The hosts are great. Unfortunately the place needs a good cleaning and there's a bad smell. Host thinks it's from the hard water. Idk what hard water smells like but it wasn't pleasant. I left early. It is a wonderful setting and has a great view of the Suwannee River. Very peaceful.」

「Host was very friendly,place was clean,peaceful,and close to 2 towns for reasturants and food shopping.They had a friendly cat on the property that followed us around and sat on the porch with us.We were there for 26 days so the host allowed us to use the laundery, that was a big help.I would highly recommend this place especially if your looking for some piece and quiet.」

「Cute place!! Was in town for a manatee tour and it was perfect. Traveled with a small dog and they let me keep her in the room (in her kennel) while I was on the tour. Quiet neighborhood, awesome hosts. Will definitely stay again if I'm in the area.」

「The property was beautiful, neighbors were friendly, the house was clean, the only problem we had was that the property was listed as boat and trailer accessible and appeared to be in the pictures, but for the bay boat we have it was not easily accessible. Thankfully we met the neighbor who let us pull onto his property to back halfway into the driveway because that’s as far as the boat could go before hitting trees」

「Nice cabin and perfect for pets」

「This is a nice and cozy cabin in a quiet area and we enjoyed the outdoor space overlooking the lake.The double mattress wasn't very comfortable though and the water pressure in the shower was low. The kids liked their bunk bed and the kitchen included everything we needed.Jay was very responsive to my messages and the check-in and -out process was seamless.」

「The cabins are wonderful and you immerse yourself in the Old Florida setting. I spent only 1 night but I would like to return for a whole week as a retreat to read and write. That is one of those places that stay with you and so inspiring. Since it was a Monday the restaurant was closed but can t wait to try it out next time I am back.」

「If you love nature, beauty, privacy, and a peaceful riverside setting, this is the perfect place. During our stay, we saw manatees right by the dock, jumping fish, a young alligator, and plenty of birds. It is truly picturesque. The home itself is also lovely. Carolyn is an excellent host. This will now be our first choice for a rental whenever we visit Tallahassee.」

「We were very disappointed with our stay. Within the first hour of arriving, we encountered three palmetto bugs (we initially called them roaches), two of which we killed. We debated leaving then but decided to stay because we were looking forward to the farm animals and pool and had scheduled plans nearby the next two days. Unfortunately, the second night was worse. We killed three more inside the tiny home, and around 2:00 a.m. our daughter woke up with at least two palmetto bugs in her bed....
