"Excellent location near Bay St. Emeryville mall and Tokyo Central market, and not far from Berkeley which was our destination. Good size room and comfortable bed and sofa. Excellent selection and delicious free breakfast. Will definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!"

"Hotel was nice. Had everything you needed and centrally located. The only complaint is that it was very loud. You could hear people in the rooms next door and in the hallways. All during the night the room doors would slam shut. So it was hard to sleep, but other than that it was good. "

"Beautiful and well appointed space, lots of great food nearby. Nice, quiet neighborhood with off street parking.The only thing was that it's actually two apartments (a 1 and 2 bedroom). We didn't realize that ahead of time, but it actually was perfect for our needs. But worth noting if your group needs close access.Host was friendly and responsive. We'd stay again!"

"We had a great stay. It’s just a mile walk from a bart station which makes city access easy. "

"Mold on shower door slide, about 1/4 inch of crud in all corners plenty of plugs, unfortunately only 3 worked,floor in general dirty,unknown substances on walls in a wide variety of areas throughout the room, could plainly hear conversations in rooms on either side. I was helped carrying my luggage up a flight of stairs. "

"Parts of Emeryville may be a little iffy and it seems true for the outskirts of where this hotel is located. However, they take precautions to help provide peace of mind and safeguard their guests’ safety, which u super appreciate - security guard patrolling the parking lot at night and access to the elevator with a hotel key cards. While the outside might look a bit worn, don’t judge a book by its cover. The interior of this hotel has been renovated and is in great shape. Staff is attentive and helpful. Complimentary coffee in the AM in the lobby area by the bar. There’s a gym on premise - not the best but enough to get a good workout in while traveling. Also, free parking - we were going to stay in Hyatt House / Hyatt Place (there’s both of these in the neighboring area) but you have to pay extra for parking, which is silly to be given it’s not in the city city. Room is great and spacious as well. Again, it looks renovated and we had no complaints staying here and would stay here again as it’s a cost effective option that’s close to SF and also Berkeley and Oakland. I’d highly recommend this hotel! "
