「Wonderful place, staff excellent.」

「Room nice overlooking the lake area………..hotel now looking a bit old and tired……nice to sit outside around the decking overlooking the lake with a nice meal…….the problem with that was two local rats looking for scraps…..but what can you do it’s a countryside hotel ……still a nice place to stay and only 20 mins from brands hatch」

「Rooms appear larger in the photos. That said it was clean, very quiet, and staff were super friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay in this chain of hotels in the future. Great value.」

「A really handy stop off on the way to the coast to an event. Easy parking, clean room and bathroom, comfy bed plus lovely staff! As we arrived later in the day we decided to eat in the pub next door.. the food was basic but OK. The breakfast was also served in the pub and at both meals the staff were really welcoming and helpful. I would stay again if I was in the area overnight.」

「Very friendly and welcoming staff. This is a five hundred year old building so don't expect a Premier inn with nice even floors and shiny paintwork, however if you want a pub hotel with real character this place is a gem. Every member of staff was great and couldn't do enough to make the stay perfect. Unfortunately we didn't get to have a meal there but the breakfast is absolutely worth getting up for. We will be back. 」
