「Staithes is a beautiful village, although we were certainly lucky with the weather. The Inn was a great place to stay, with a tucked away car park at the rear. Nice big room and good bathroom. Great breakfast including kippers as an option. It is short walk down into the village where there are other eating and drinking options too and lovely walks and views. Steep back up though!」

「While a 10-15 minute walk from downtown, the scenery and location were gorgeous and quaint. The staff, the room, the breakfast, and the stay were just what we were looking for. We took the train to Durham, dropped our packs off at the inn, and spent the rest of the day walking around town and along the river. 」

「The oak tree inn was a good choice for a one night stay. The drinks were nice and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was nice and clean. Tv remote was very slow and shower wasn't great. Bed was only a double and prefer king size but was fine for stop over stay」

「If you are looking for 4 or 5* ratings then the Waterford Arms isn't for you. If you want honest, no frills accommodation with wonderful staff and great food then you're onto a winner. We had a great stay and when the area had a power cut on a fully booked restaurant on Saturday night the staff were amazing. Despite a considerable loss of income they kept smiling and coped very well. Seaton Sluice itself is very popular at the weekend. Not surprising really as it is very picturesque. We would be...
