"Basic but clean and comfortable, decent value for the price. Each apartment is 2-bed so kitchen and bathroom are only shared with one other guest room. Was upgraded from single to a double for no extra charge. The people upstairs were up all night but that could happen anywhere."

"Perfect location. Bus stop and train station are close by. Property run down and in need of repairs. You get what you pay for! No internet in the rooms only in the pub next door. Can hear pigeons outside and sounded like something was in the loft. "

"The general condition of the hotel is poor, old, tired and a bit scruffy. The rooms just about fit the bill, but the bathrooms are very small. "Arrived and the first room we had hadn’t been cleaned - they managed to find us another room but that one was also a bit dingy around the edges. It’s a basic hotel option, right by the white water course (Teeside). Breakfast at the restaurant next door was great. Appreciated the easy and free parking availability."
