"Firstly, the location is PERFECT - it's walking distance to literally everything in Florence. Close to all the main sights, best restaurants, bars, shops, you name it. Service was also great and extremely friendly / attentive. We checked in a bit early and they immediately had someone come tag all of our bags to store them. Once we checked in they brought them all up. The real highlight of this stay though was the room. I had booked a regular deluxe room but upon check-in was told by the lovely front desk agent that they had upgraded us. He said his colleague would have to escort us to our room and we weren't sure why but we just went with it. Once we got there we realized why ... the room was INCREDIBLE. They put us in a room called Suite Beatrice. Everything about it was perfect, the stunning ceiling and artwork, the lovely bathrooms, the balcony, the incredibly powerful two zone AC (both bedrooms had independent AC controls which is a GAME CHANGER). We didn't have breakfast at the hotel since it wasn't included in our booking but we did take a look and the spread looked wonderful. Also, you don't have to have a suite to enjoy this hotel - our friends had a regular deluxe room and their room was great too! Good size, clean / updated, great bathrooms. Highly recommend."

"There were three problems with the room - two were fixed immediately, but the third - flooding of the bathroom every time I took a shower - was not fixed during my 3 night stay. Other than the room was well appointed, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. In easy walking distance from the Duomo and other sights, multiple restaurants nearby, as well as a market selling fresh food, fruit and vegetables."

"A Truly Exceptional Stay at NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa From the moment we arrived, everything about this hotel exceeded expectations. The location could not be better. It's perfectly central and walkable to all the beautiful sights, shopping, and incredible restaurants in Florence. The staff were outstanding. From the front desk to the bellmen who handled our luggage, everyone was friendly, attentive, and eager to help. They called cabs whenever we needed, offered excellent local recommendations, and always greeted us with warmth. A special mention goes to Chiara at the front desk, who was the cherry on top. She was professional, welcoming, and simply excellent in every way. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully kept. The housekeeping staff maintained everything with care and attention to detail. The food was delicious, the music in the lobby set a wonderful atmosphere, and the overall cleanliness and elegance of the hotel made our stay unforgettable. We truly loved everything about this hotel. Gorgeous, well-run, and filled with a team that makes you feel cared for. I cannot wait to return to Florence and when I do, it will absolutely be to NH Collection Firenze Porta Rossa. "
