「Nicole was great greeting me and providing information. The breakfast was excellent. I rated good on the room due to there being a slight odor. Not sure if from smoking. The beds, however, were as comfortable as a much more expensive hotel. I had a great night sleep and that was most important.」

「The only issue I had was a loud group of people outside, but that was our of the hotels control. A nice stay.」

「There is no Quality in this Quality Inn. The pool has been "temporarily" closed since Sept. of 2025. Rug was very dirty. Breakfast was better at other places. Parking was nice it was right at the door. Too much late night traffic. Ice machine was broken had to walk to the next building to get ice Peeling paint in the bathroom. NO handicapped rooms available. Bedroom wall was scratched up, looks as if a dog did it.」

「I travel a lot for business and this was an extremely clean property. I was hesitant, as in the past Red Roof Inns were not a place I would stay. This is an exception to the rule. The front desk staff was pleasant and accommodating. The room was very clean, smelled good, and had a comfortable bed and great AC. I would stay again.」

「Three Trails is ideally located in downtown Elkin. It, however, is located next to an active railroad line and trains do sound their horns early in the mornings and sometimes at night. Three Trails is also on the corner of the main street junction of the city. Therefore, there is street noise. Three Trails would be much improved, and more comfortable for guests, if sound proofing glass is installed in the windows. 「The entire site was very clean and well maintained. Cabin was cozy. The campfire with wood included was a nice touch and my wife and I loved the scripture everywhere!」

「The tiny home stay was perfect! The land and the home both were beautiful. My fiancé and I really enjoyed our stay. It was very peaceful listening to the different animals while watching the stars at night.」

「My son and I had a great time. We really enjoyed the river. We never did get any bites (fishing) but it was just nice being outside with the sound of the river and small falls. I will say that when they mention wanting to have an all wheel drive or 4x4 when the weather isn’t sunny and dry, we made it back to the cabin in a Honda Odyssey in low and had no trouble. Would definitely recommend.」

「This was a wonderful place to stay. Although it is off-grid it does have a mini fridge, A/C and a normal toilet (the toilet is located in it's own building attached to the main bedroom but is private and not inconvenient at all). The VRBO is on the owners land but is still secluded and very peaceful.
