「Clean, cute, comfortable cottage! Our family including our dog enjoyed our relaxing stay - movies by the fire, hot baths, crafting at the kitchen table, and cooking good food. We had fun in the area - hiking state parks (Mount Jefferson and Rendezvous), National Park System Brinegar Cabin, Blue Ridge Parkway, Emerald Hollow Mine, Love Valley (horse only town) Christmas parade/ tree lighting, and a mead flight at Stardust Cellars (kid and dog friendly). 「Room was clean if not a bit dated. The motel is being remodeled so only half the motel was available during my stay. Debra at the front desk was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good, im happy it was sausage patties instead of the gross squishy links at most hotels. The best part? Room 218, the bed was probably in the top 3 best motel beds Ive ever slept in. Friendly staff, clean room, a comfortable bed, and good water pressure in the shower. It’s not fancy, but it gets the job done.」
