Would recommend if you have a family and want a place to stay as it is vast and you won't even know anyone else is staying there, so kids can play without worrying about neighbours. there were 4 of us 2 adults a 17 year old and a 13year old boy with autism, was nice not to have to keep saying sorry about the boy he is Autistic, (he had a great time) he said it was a great Vacation. Staff really friendly and helpful. Decor and collection display of artifacts amazing and just my style!! Grounds might be a bit too trendily dishevelled but it appealed to me. Location brilliant for Bath, Cotswolds, innumerable “NT and other properties and visiting old friends still living in Cotswolds. "The grounds of the house is beautiful. We wondered around and even walked through the cornfield. The staff was Excellent and went out of their way for anything we needed. My college student son even took his final online exam in the Library which is over 200 years old and the staff gave him a pitcher of water, cookies and a Good Luck note. Breakfast was very expensive but it was very good quality with probably local sausages (large) nice back bacon and all the trimmings. Other cooked options were available.
