"I'm sorry to say our stay was not what we expected. I felt we got the bare minimum for a two night stay. No hospitality involved. If we asked a question the attendant at reception answered the question but not any sense of welcome or "how can we help". We also were charged an additional fee that was not clear what it was for other than parking (which we expected, but higher than we thought) and the refund would be on its way in a few days. They certainly don't wait to charge my account. Just disappointing for a big hotel. It was also under construction or renovation, so a lot of dust! The construction workers were the most helpful."

"Convenient, near south lake downtown. View is perfect! Although it’s an old lodge it’s okay coz you are paying for the view. Room is just good to sleep and not for staycation. After all, why go to Tahoe if you just wanna stay in bed right? There’s only one fire pit so the kids were not able to do smores. By the time we want to, there are already lots of peole hanging around and it would be awkward to join especially when they’re all cozied up already. But overall, it’s a great place to stay."

"My favorite place to stay. Perfect location and the place is spotless and the kitchen was well stocked with pots and bake ware. The prices at the lobby market for eggs and other things to cook are reasonable.it was easy to order safeway delivery as well."

"It's Harrah's a classic. Most the rooms have 2 full bathrooms which is nice. Fridays station was good. Pricey but great view. Always a fun stop. "
