This cabin is perfect for us. Secure driveway for off street parking. Well stocked kitchen. Cleaning supplies which you need for longer stays. Walk to beach/ pier. Boat launch ramp 5 minutes away in Homewood. And they added the bear deterrent system which we love.. NO bear problems. Yes, we’d stay there again

Feels like coming home. Old cottage charm. All the amenities you need. Short walk to a nice burger place, gelato, & a bar down the street and of course to the lake. Loved the books with history of the area. Clean. Electric bear deterrent system.. . thank you. We did encounter a bear on a hike from about 100 ft away ... wouldn’t want a visit in the cabin. Would definitely stay here again. Didn’t use the bikes since we rented E-bike from a place close by but it’s nice you have them.

Stayed here with my best friends for a short and sweet snowy weekend in February. The kitchen was well-stocked, bedrooms were comfortable, and the cabin had a comfortable familiar feel to it. Lots of games, books, and VHS tapes around the living room, as well as a vintage wood-burning fireplace; we bought firewood so that we could have some cozy nights around the fireplace at night! The neighborhood is lovely to stroll around in. You are a bit far away from grocery and convenience stores and the South Tahoe area, but the drive in and out of Tahoma was breathtakingly scenic. We didn't even mind the the ~16 min drive to Safeway because driving along the lakefront was beautiful. Overall a fantastic time. We loved it and can't recommend it enough.

Great for a family vacation!
Cozy small well maintained cabin on the west shore of Lake Tahoe. 2 good size bedrooms upstairs with King beds and most importantly the mattress were good, 1 bathroom no tub downstairs. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed our stay.
This cozy A-frame cabin in the woods will bring you right back to your youth, 70's and 80's kids. It's like walking into Grandma and Grandpa's cabin - and you know what they say, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. It has everything you need lovingly maintained "as is" since 1986, from the vintage double oven range combo to the plethora of classic board games. Anyone up for Clue? We all loved our time here, even the screen dependent children, who learned how to operate a VCR and watched the original theatrical cuts of the Star Wars Trilogy, proving that Han shot first.
There is a fantastic backyard, which was great for snow play for the kids away from the crowds of the resorts and snoparks. Just gotta watch out for the Agnes Kravitz that lives next door.
We were very comfortable here, and we'd definitely stay again.
We loved this warm, cozy cottage as a jumping off point for hikes and views of beautiful Lake Tahoe: a 10 minute drive to Bliss State Park, 5 minutes to Sugar Pine Point State Park, and access to state park hiking trails by simply walking through the neighborhood from the house. It’s a small house, but had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It was evident from first observation that the owner of the cottage treats the property with great TLC. This was no sterile, generic cabin. It was full of family games, beautiful photographs of the area, books that revealed the owner as a lover of nature (trail guides, wildflower maps, and more). The house was clean and the kitchen well-supplied with dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Just two “heads-ups”: the company that manages the property requires that renters purchase damage insurance, so it’s good to know that upfront. Leila at the management company was very patient and helpful with all questions. Also, the two bedrooms are upstairs, with the one bathroom downstairs. This being said, I would definitely stay here again and felt fortunate that we landed here for our getaway to the lake.

I like the overall feel of the property. Very breezy and perfect yard, except one of the windows is nailed shut and the toilet flushes slow. but we like everything else ! :)
