「The hotel reception was well run and check-in went very smoothly. Our room which was on the ground floor was spacious, very clean and well appointed, with a very comfortable bed. The only down side was the complicated lighting arrangement in the room. In the morning, we found the breakfast well stocked with a reasonable range of item. All in all it was a very nice stay」

Food was good although limited choice if you were staying more than one night.
Room we thought was a bit small by comparison to other chain hotels we've stayed in. That said it was clean and the bed was a comfy std double.
The shower wasn't great! Water hot but no matter where you put the controller we couldn't get anywhere near adequate water...
「Our stay at the Mount Edgcumbe was genuinely exceptional. My wife wasn’t feeling well during our visit, and the manager and staff showed such warmth and care — nothing was ever too much trouble. Their kindness and attentiveness really stood out and made us feel completely looked after.

「Saban and Belinda were great hosts. They were very accommodating and paused their laundry so i could do mine between the two different legs of my trip. I neeed to make sure i had enough clean laundry as i would not have access ta any laundry facilities for the next 12 days.
The room was nice, and perfect for a solo traveller.」
「Basic room, not so comfy bed and very dated but staff were really friendly, room was big and patio doors opened onto quiet green. Lot's of storage and a huge range of channels on the TV. Felt able to relax really well.
Food in restaurant fine, again bar and dining room very dated but good choice on menu and big portions.
