「We stayed for two nights. The owner picked me up at the station (my husband came later by car) and was very kind. The room we stayed was very spacious and next to it was a living room/breakfast room. This living room-rounge was also spacious with a TV and sofas. The owner immediately offered me a cup of tea. Very relaxing. We had a jolly talk with other guests. The room is very clean. Everything works. The breakfast was a full of volume and very tasty. Can't wait for another opportunity to stay.」

「宿泊当日の申し込み予約確定だたのですが、到着時オーナーが留守でした。電話したのですが、出先から帰られるまで1時間ほど待たされました。オーナーは当日予約確定の事実を確認されておらず、このような事態になったようです。Hotels.comからオーナーへの予約確認連絡方法に問題がありそうです。 ロッジの設備は快適で、オーナーのサービスも満点でした。ロケーションもよくカンタベリーの街を楽しめました。」

「Beautifully appointed spotlessly clean room with very comfortable bed! Best hotel room in a long time. Staff were kind, helpful and attentive. I had the vegetarian breakfast and was so impressed at how fresh all the ingredients were and that the chef cooked the veggie sausages to perfection………..most breakfast chefs seem to cremate them! All in all a fabulous experience. 」

「宿のオーナー夫妻がとても気さくでそれだけで快適に過ごせた。部屋も広く重厚な造りで伝統を感じる宿であった。主要道から外れているのでとても静かに滞在できた。朝食の場所は狭いが逆に他の宿泊客と楽しく話しながら食事が出来て良かった。」

「Positives: Beautiful location, fantastic parking, helpful host, nice personal touch eating in the kitchen. Negatives: Animals accessing the guest areas, needs to make it clear on description for people with allergies, cat was also whining first thing in the morning at are door, average breakfast.」

「Only stayed one night, but it was comfortable and clean. Service was friendly and good. My only slight disappointment was that the private bathroom was separate from the bedroom, but still reserved only for us. The Hotels.com website said separate 'bedroom', not bathroom. Only a minor matter, otherwise everything good.」
