「Advertised as an apartment with breakfast included. But in reality is a chalet bedroom and ensuite. Breakfast was 2 mini yogurts in the fridge, a couple of tiny croissants and cereals. Beverages are DIY. Check in is via a member of staff behind the bar in the pub. Unresponsive to phone calls with the number provided prior to the stay where I attempted to know if there was possibility of an earlier check-in but since not being able to get through I had to check-in at the standard 3pm. 「We just stayed the one night passing through and this was a very nice hotel. We booked in for Sunday Lunch and this was on of the best I have ever had in my life. The staff were very nice and high class, as was the venue. We only stayed one night but would like to stay longer next time.」

「Too many rules stuck everywhere in the property. The lady that attended to us was impolite over the phone. Properrty difficult to locate. Need for signposts on the roads close to property.」

「Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. 」

「Room was clean, staff especially Sarah were very helpful. Full English breakfast available each morning. Downside was location right next to a busy road, parking is available but limited. Also the inn is in the process of being sold, so may not be available in the near future.」

「Was such a treat and would love to return! Thank you x」

「Good location in the middle of town.」

「A beautifully appointed and comfortable room in a quiet and convenient location in easy walking distance of the town centre. The owners had thought of everything a guest could possibly want and provided a very comprehensive information pack. Would definitely recommend.」

「Very convenient when using Le Shuttle to cross the channel - just a couple of minutes drive from the terminal, aiding a quick getaway in the morning. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Pay attention to the information sent in advance about arrival - we needed to use the phone number provided to say we’d arrived and be shown to our room. Comms via the Expedia app worked very well to update them on arrival time, etc. On the outward journey we took advantage of the “grab bag” breakfast to give...

「Communication with host was poor. No information on check in procedure. No information on which room we had booked. No key in key safe.We only gained access due to a helpful fellow resident, who let us in and helped us find a free room.Room poorly maintained with curtains held up by string and blinds broken.Altogether very poor」

「the Key code was wrong, it is smaller than expected, that is the bad here is the good, I had to call at just past midnight for the code and they answered and resolved the issue, it was nice and quite,」

「In a picturesque setting with lovely friendly staff and a very welcoming atmosphere, food was excellent and prices good for what you get , definitely be visiting again and highly recommend to anyone!」
