Great staff that could not do enough for us, newly decorated room very good restaurant (but very busy) breakfast is amazing but it you do have to be a bit patient but it is very much worth the wait. Parking is adequate but i would think if you turn up later in the evening you would struggle for space Our second stay there and would do it again

The pub was lovely, the food was good and the staff were very helpful. The only problem was that the room had been very liberally sprayed with Fabreeze, including the bed linens, which sadly caused me to have an asthma attack and meant I had to cut short my stay.

Fire alarms were being updated on our arrival. We had access to the room but electricians needed to keep returning! Our room was not what we expected from when we made the booking! Super King! With an Iron framed bed with a mattress that didn’t really fit properly, and in what we would class a double room! Both myself and my husband caught our legs on one of the corners when going around the bed! Spoke to a member of staff regarding the room but they simply said that the room we had was correctly allocated! Room was not serviced daily, had to request replacement items, Shower Gel, Teabags, Milk etc. With regard the food, this was no problem, the evening meals and breakfast we had both excellent!

Lovely hotel and close to amenities. Has free parking on site which is a bonus. Room was very clean and comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was very good, freshly cooked to order. Staff nice and friendly will definitely stay again .

We were there for the Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch railway, location was great. The breakfast was good and the bar and food area pleasant with outside space. Good free parking. The room was over priced it being small and an awkward shape with an over large bed. The very modern bedside lights did not work as they need to be charged to work! We were provided with 2 cooling fans to combat the hot weather a plus was the shower not a bath.

We stayed on Sunday 9th August, was lovely sitting in the garden and plenty to tables to choose from. We went for a walk in the evening and thought we would have a glass of wine on our return. When we asked at 20.50 we were told sorry last orders have already been called. We couldn’t even take a glass to our room.

Lovely room with everything you need. Pub was great for dinner and the breakfast was excellent (Great choice of cooked options and good selection of cereals, juices, yoghurts, croissants etc). All the staff I came into contact with were wonderful, friendly and very helpful. Will be staying again next time I am down in the area.

Parking immediately by the hotel. Make sure you register your car reg daily. Shops and restaurants on the same street, sea front less than 5 minutes drive, possibly walkable. Lovely village x x

Ideal single room for the solo traveller. Comfy bed, clean room and bathroom. The bathroom was small and the shower is snug which may not be ideal for a larger guest but well stocked wirh shampoo, shower gel etc. Some noise can be heard from outside and downstairs etc but no more than any other place I have stayed in really. On both this and my previous stay I have been in rooms on the road side so it would be nice to see what it is like on the other side away from the road as you can hear the cars going by. Toilet flush is noisy as it is a macerator system but i knew this from my last stay and it didnt seem as bad as the twin room I stayed in before. Nicely decorated character building with friendly staff and good food. I preferred this single room than the twin room my partner and I stayed in before.

Nice pub/hotel. The food was acceptable but I was not happy with the liver and bacon dish I ordered - the liver had the texture of 'vulcanised rubber' and the cook added far too much salt as was done on my breakfast dish.

On checking in very welcoming on departure nothing said at all. Stay okay, but for us not pet friendly. Clean room, but not enough towels. Breakfast too greasy. Very noisy road outside. They did supply in one room ear plugs.
