"Unknowledgeable staff member should be warning you about important parking information at hotel. Until you almost got your car towed for parking in the reserved spot for tenants will ruin vacation and regrets you booked this place!"

"We booked two rooms—one with two queens and one with a king. Upon arrival, the king room was apparently more of a suggestion than a guarantee, so we ended up with two rooms with two queen beds. We got there a bit early and decided to have lunch at the Collab. It’s a great-looking restaurant, and the food was good once it arrived, but the wait was long enough that we could’ve left, found another restaurant, eaten, and still beaten our original order back to the table. There was a private party going on, and it was pretty clear the staff was overwhelmed. They were very nice about it and comped the meal, which was appreciated, but not exactly the warm welcome you hope for. Once we got to the rooms, things didn’t improve much. The bathtub was dirty and appeared to be filled with pubic hair, which is not a detail anyone wants to confirm in person. The towel also had a stain that I made a conscious decision not to investigate. The overnight parking situation also deserves a mention. You can only park on one side of the garage on the third floor, and finding the entrance felt like a scavenger hunt with no clues. It drove my husband absolutely insane. Lastly, the pool situation is a bit misleading. The photos make it look like there are two pools, but the larger one is actually for the residences next door and not available to hotel guests. So technically there are two pools—you just can’t use the better one."

"I was in town to attend wedding and this was a suggested hotel. It was nice being so close to a really nice mall and a publix. The hotel itself was super far from everything and uber was $35+ each way. The toilet clogged in our room every single night and our sheets and pillow cases were dirty when we arrived. I wouldn’t stay here again but it could’ve been worse."

"The night manager was absolutely rude and inconsiderate. We were placed in a very filthy room with the toilet not flushing (had to fill the trash can with water in the shower and remove the toilet lid every time to flush it, and I called and complained and was told that they couldn’t do anything until 2am where they would call me to switch rooms. I never received the call and when I called, the manager told me that I couldn’t be reimbursed my booking rate and I can just leave and turn in my key at front desk. I had to literally beg for an extra set of towels for 2 days. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and I advised that I will indeed call corporate!"

"The property of Mayfair House Hotel is beautiful with the lush greenery everywhere. The rooms are lacking storage, there is none - other then 5 small draws and 4 hangers. However poorly designed, there is plenty of space for storage, empty walls that could easily be filled in with dressers etc. This was a big problem. You do not expect to be living out of a suitcase at Michelin rated hotel. House keeping was very inconsistent, and needed to be called for towards the end of the day. The bar and restaurant was great, as well as location. "
