"We booked our stay through Expedia, expecting a room with a balcony and an ocean view. Unfortunately, our dining experience at the High Tide restaurant was disappointing. From the hostess who seated us to the uncomfortable low seating at our table, everything felt subpar. The food had no flavor at all, especially when compared to their sister property, Bernardus, in Carmel Valley—there’s simply no comparison. On a positive note, the pool and staff at the hotel were excellent and very accommodating. However, while the room was decent, it did not justify the additional price we were charged for our two-night stay."

"Overall the hotel is decent. The room was clean and spacious. The property is ok but could use some up-keep. Didn't care for the coffee from the machine in the lobby, it tasted like chemicals, maybe from the cleaning process."
