"The room was hygienically spotless and fresh. Simple amenities that all worked properly, including great TV service. The Pool was flawlessly clean with all the right towels ect. However, it was too cool for my taste it was about air temp, maybe high 60s, low 70s. The staff was helpful and pleasant with good office coffee and pastries. The Expedia prepaid was simple and quick ! This Inn is way underrated at 2 stars and I prefer it to other 3 and 4-star ones very close by to it. Plus the best deal around for a safe , clean pleasant and great-view motel."

"We really enjoyed our stay! The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was very comfortable, and it was clear that a lot of thought had gone into providing everything guests might need. The location was excellent and made it easy to explore the area. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the property was quiet and relaxing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area."

"We enjoyed our stay for three guests and a dog at Daniel's property. The description of treehouse retreat fits it well. It is a bit of a distance up from the city, but that is accurately explained. Be ready for curvy roads. He mentioned in his instructions cell service would be lost and the directive to download instructions and map for offline use are very important to follow. It isn't somewhere you can just happen to find. Only one thing was a bit unsatisfactory. Bath towels were still in the washing machine and there were only two washcloths for three people for three days and two nights. Mostly just a small inconvenience."

"We have been doing these family trips now for almost 20 yrs. This house was the most expensive house, but universally among all 8 adults, we all felt overall this house was clearly the best. The grandkids loved it for a multitude of reasons. The pool, the location, Carmel valley was joyous, the staff support, and it met all of our needs and expectations. We strongly endorse it for large families like ourselves."
