"Quality hotel. I’ve stayed here on multiple occasions. Conveniently located near shopping and sightseeing places as well as within walking distance of the train station. The only thing I don’t like is the really soft pillows provide no support and they cause me to toss and turn more often. "

"lovely clean hotel, good breakfast, comfortable room. no stores or bars anywhere near, 10 minute walk to restaurants wasn't a problem, but after a full day of walking around all the museums, it would have been nice to have restaurants close by."

"I've stayed here every time I go to D.C. in the past 12 years. The hotel is wonderful with clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice design. Easy to control room temperature to your liking. Coffee/tea/hot choc, etc available 24/7 for free. Great location near the Capitol and Union Station, since I take the train into D.C. from CT. It's an easy one block walk to hotel. Three blocks to the National Mall/Museums. The staff is wonderful and goes above and beyond to make your stay a treat! Attentive and helpful. The restaurant on site, The Dubliner Irish Pub, has nice menu selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Moderate cost (not bad for DC).The area is very safe, especially being so close to the Capitol. The only complaint would be that several affordable food establishments in the area of the hotel (West Wing Cafe & Corner bakery) have been pushed out due to their higher rents. (The West Wing Cafe opened in another area, too far to walk from hotel.) Though you can walk up to the train station for some quick meals if you like. I wouldn't stay anywhere else when I visit."
