"My third time staying here and it is always the same. Pros: Clean, comfortable and perfect for beach walks. It is also far enough away from the historic area so you aren’t surrounded by the crowds. It is near several good restaurants, which allows for relaxing evenings without long drives for dinner. Coms:The delivery of breakfast in a basket is a quaint touch, but more than 2 items and 1 beverage choice per person is lacking, even for a continental breakfast. The walls are thin, so loud voices and TV’s in adjoining rooms can be disturbing when trying to sleep. Beach chair rentals and umbrella prices are too high for those who can’t bring those items with them when flying. However, the overall price point is worth it for a place right on the beach and I will continue to stay when available. "

"Clean, dated, management permits Marijuana smoking(not me) Something fishy going on each night in room112, people sitting watch at night upstairs. Its ok, but they are allowing things that will make this great location motel one of "Those" avoid stays"

"Our stay at The Local excellent overall . The road noise can be a little loud in the evening but it gets better later in the night. The cleanliness was a 9/10 and comfort was a 8/10. The room could use a comfortable chair for relaxing. The pool was a nice bonus even though it was a little cool for a dip. The staff less operation of property was not an issue. It was much like renting a vacation property through other agencies. We would stay again. "
