「The First Colony Inn is a lovely old property in a great location for visiting the Outer Banks. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. Buffet breakfast choices were very good and the hot option varied each day. There's a wonderful beach opposite the inn and a good selection of restaurants and shops nearby. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to return.」

「Our room looked out on the ocean and we loved sitting on the balcony listening to the waves. We also enjoyed the hot tub each night. The breakfast had something for everyone from eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, pastries and bagels, fruit, yogurts, etc.」

「The hotel and staff was very good, the room was nice and new. Location was also excellent and the Mexican Restaurant next door was a great option. Our only complaint was we did not know we had to request to have our room cleaned, we were out the entire day and returned to a uncleaned room with no new towels. If we had known we would have at least hung up our towels to use the following day. The night staff provided us with new towels and said its been this way since covid. I think it should...
