「This resort gets 100% We went for an anniversary trip- started at another resort (big mistake - worst place ever) so couple days in we switched to secrets royal. (We previously stayed at secrets baby beach in Aruba and loved it) from the minute walking into the lobby, everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly but also helpful ! 「Honestly we had a rough start to our trip due to the check in process. We were given a hard time about paying through Expedia using Apple Pay even though it was our debit card. And even though our debit card matched the Expedia receipt and passport and ID, we still waited over an hour after traveling all day to only be told me must cancel our reservation and wait 20 days for a refund and rebook.. which most people don’t have the luxury of doing and to be told that after we arrived wasn’t fair....

The food at the buffet was always cold The hibachi restaurant only had beef and chicken and pre-cooked vegetables. There was no shrimp included, but they did serve sushi at the end which I don’t eat so I have no idea how that tasted. They advertise a steakhouse, but it is what it is is a beach grill with hamburgers and hotdog They had a lot of cats lingering around in the food area outside...
