Toronto Islands Kid friendly Vacations

Appreciated the airport shuttle with just an overnight stay this time. Think room doors could be padded around the contact area to make closing less noisy. Recommend staying in even numbered rooms which face away from the busy Dixon Road.

Bed was really comfortable and shower was good. Air conditioning was too warm for our liking and made the room feel stuffy, but still ok. Hotel really clean and in a good central location. Self parking not really an option but the valet service was perfect! Helpful staff, however only issue was with checking in. A credit card is required. Debit card is an inconvenience and requires nightly charge, instead of overall stay deposit.

The property is fabulous. Nice boutique hotel on Main Street in Newmarket across from a great coffee shop. A couple of small challenges include parking as there’s limited parking that’s covered in a few extra spots uncovered. Also the temperature in the room was difficult to change in the front desk, control it from there. Staff was amazing and rooms were clean and we serviced daily while we were out so there was no inconvenience to our day.

I like the proximity to the airport and noiseless as compares others. I didn’t like that there was no drinking water in the room.

Booked the premium one bedroom suite. Beautiful view of the lake. Room was spacious 2 bathrooms, lots of nice amenities. For all the luxuries including extra pillows the mattresses are terrible. They are squeaky and bouncy and hard. The pullout double sofa bed was also just awful. Onsite restaurants were good. Ate at all 3, food was excellent. Cafe X is open til just 1 pm. I suppose no one wants a coffee after that hour? For the size and scale of the hotel, having a coffee shop open til even 3 pm would be ideal , especially on the weekend. Staff was super friendly, valet was quick.

Rooms almost double the size of most hotel rooms. Beds, comfortable, vibrant dining areas. Very nice Coffee bar in lobby. My only suggestion would be a couple of couches or chairs in the entrance way. Nice to enjoy when you are waiting.

Did get a free upgrade can’t hurt but try. Was a great place to stay
