Piers Island Kid friendly Vacations

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Fairmont Empress. The rooms are lovely and comfortable, but the carpeting—both inside the rooms and throughout the hallways—feels a bit worn and could use refreshing. The service, however, is consistently excellent, with staff who are warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful. One thing I did notice was that the pool area floor tended to be a bit dirty each day, which took away from the otherwise great amenities. The in room dining is great as well. In short: beautiful hotel, great service, but a few areas could use some updating and more frequent upkeep.

The only recommendation that I could offer is that they need to change the lightbulbs out in the washrooms in the guest rooms as it’s not enough light for a woman to put on makeup or a man to shave with any precision.

One of Canada's best hotels. Beautiful rooms, great staff; professional and extremely helpful. Best lounge/bar in Vancouver as far as I am concerned. You simply can't go wrong should you choose to stay here.

Great location near Stanley Park. Attentive staff, nice room, solid gym, spa and bars/restaurants. We loved our stay at the Georgia in Vancouver.

The hotel staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

The view is quite lovely! Wish the pool/hot tub area was a bit bigger, but loved the design of the property and the rooms were well kept. Ability to rent bikes to ride around downtown was a nice touch!

Room facilities were good. Rooms and kitchenette were well supplied. Hotel is quite central, with lots of restaurant, coffee and shopping close by.
