8/10 Very Good! (1,021 reviews)
Hotel is close to everything. Easy to navigate to “touristic” parts of city. Also close to the airport. Pool is okay just needs a bit more care (leaves in pool from surrounding trees). Towels not always there. Just 1 seating area with an umbrella if you don’t take it you’ll be stuck under sun at all times. No music. No lifeguard. Staff was great, except for person who checked us in. Check in is at 3pm, but told us to wait almost an hour claiming room is not ready in a “take it or leave it” attitude, no sense of empathy. When asked how long do we have to wait her response was “I don’t know maybe minutes maybe hours”. Didn’t greet us properly, saw guests being greeted with smiles and cookies the next day from other staff. Didn’t tell us anything about the hotel services (breakfast being included, shuttle to airport, gave us one keycard for room and didn’t tell us how to get to the room, etc). Maybe she was having a bad day? Other than that experience everything else was fine.

8.6/10 Excellent! (1,007 reviews)
Selected due to airport location with 24 hr airport shuttle. Hotel staff extremely helpful. Very clean and enjoyed modern decor of room. Ate dinner in restaurant which was tasty and service was excellent. Thought closeness to airport might be a source of noise however room was very quiet

9/10 Wonderful! (520 reviews)
I had mixed feelings about my stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Las Colinas.
There is a lot to love about this hotel. The property is beautiful, the rooms are elegant and comfortable, and the bed and pillows were exceptional. I slept very well, and the overall ambiance is exactly what you would expect from a luxury hotel.
However, my experience was overshadowed by one major issue. The view from my balcony overlooked construction dumpsters and debris instead of the beautiful surroundings. For a room costing around $1,000 per night, this was extremely disappointing and far below the experience I expected from a Ritz-Carlton.
What made the situation even more frustrating was the hotel’s response. On the day I checked in, I immediately expressed my concern and was told they would try to move me to another room with a better view. Later in my stay, I brought it up again and received the same promise. Unfortunately, nothing was ever done. No one followed up, no alternative room was offered, and I was left feeling that my concern simply wasn’t a priority.
Luxury hotels are about more than beautiful buildings—they are about exceptional guest service. While the property itself is excellent, the lack of follow-through and attention to a legitimate concern was disappointing. When guests are paying premium rates, they should expect both a premium room and service that matches the reputation of the Ritz Carlton
