"Check in was a bear which may be the case regularly due to concerts or shows in the area. However, there are check-in machines that was helpful though the can take some patience but some staff were available to assist. Our room was in the Dennis tower that could use some upgrading. All areas of our room was clean and neat. However, there are no charging stations but plenty of outlets. It was only a one night stay so if there is another time, I’ll ask for a room in the new tower"

"The room was clean but the room next door had cigarette smoke coming into my room. Don’t smoke so it bothers me. Hopefully they will place you in a room far away from smelling cigarette smoke. "

"Word I’d use for this casino hotel is unpolished - dated decor, old carpeting, furnishings missing, bar soap and a tiny shampoo per room, small TVs… Somewhat understandable for being an older casino hotel. We were not happy with the stale smoke smell in our non-smoking room and the hallway on the floor we were staying on. Large hotel rooms, lots of dining options, free parking was nice, and convenient access to the boardwalk to get to a concert we were there for. Charging a credit card surcharge in the restaurants in a place that rakes in millions on gambling is ticky-tack. "
