"Nice stay close to the C & O. Appreciate the attention to the needs of bikers. Bike wash, trail mix station at breakfast & easy access to trail."

"The check-in service was excellent! unfortunately, there was a problem. The hotel had a main water pipe burst at 3:45am. that resulted in the entire hotel being evacuated. I do want to say the check-in clerk was exceptional in handling this situation. He assured us the hotel would give us a refund if we called Expedia. I was given the info. that Expedia needed to process the refund and it appears that this will be taken care of. Thank-you so much and thank-you (check-in clerk) Art."

"Friendly staff, reasonable rates, facility in good condition overall. The plumbing in our room needed attention, slow drain in sink, tub and shower regulator leaked, rust stains on the tub."

"The rooms are a little dated and dim, but I appreciated that everything was clean. Breakfast is basic, but as expected for the price. Only complaint is the smell of smoke in the hallway that managed to creep into the room. "

"When I discovered a long black piece of hair in the sink (which is located in the room and not the bathroom), I was not too alarmed. When I looked down, there was clumps of black human hair around the floor of the sink. I obtained rubber gloves and disinfecting wipes to clean the "entire" sink area, bathroom, and a host of other items in the room (including desk, fridge, microwave, dresser, and more).
