The views were stunning, the cabin was fantastic (especially the upper deck), and the privacy was just the right balance of secluded and populated in case of emergency. 「Secluded enough to be able to relax, let the hair down. There are plenty of things to do in the area, but I needed some space and this was the perfect place for that. Took my dog along. First time he has gone anywhere besides the vet. If your dog is a couch potato/ climbs on furniture I recommend bringing some sheet bedding to throw over the furniture. Also if your dog is small enough you can use baby gates to keep them on the porch area. My dog runs after anything that moves so he was...

「Convenient location to Cacapon state park. My only issue with the stay was the upstairs bed needs to be replaced or at least a mattress topper put in it. You go to bed and roll towards the middle. Besides that it was great place to stay.」
