"Got there over an hour after check in time. Tried to check in using the kiosk, it said our room wasn’t ready. Waited 30+ minutes to talk to someone at check in area. The woman I talked to was incredibly unfriendly and apathetic. She found our reservation but said unless we wanted an “older room” she couldn’t check us in. I then waited another 15 minutes to check in at the front desk. The person there was slightly more friendly but told us our room wasn’t ready but he would to “talk to someone”. He came back to say he was able to get us a room. Considering we’d paid months in advance for our reservation I should hope so. But no apologies or anything for the incredible inconvenience and hassle to check in. Finally made it to our room and although we were told all rooms have mini fridges, ours did not. It had some sort of mini bar thing that didn’t work at all. Placed 3 different requests for someone to come look at the issue and no one ever showed up. You cannot talk to the front desk at all. It’s so asinine. If you call front desk, you get an AI voice that can help you with simple, limited issues. You can’t actually talk to a person. Ask for an agent, you’re put on hold, no one ever picks up. At check out, I spoke to another unfriendly woman who also did not at all seem to care about our issues. I requested a refund of resort fees & she begrudgingly refunded one. It doesn’t appear this place cares about you having a positive experience. Wouldn’t recommend."

"Check in was fine. Upon room entry, the rooms were found to be dirty and had cockroaches. One of our rooms was short towels so we had to ask for more. There were some undesirable people hanging around in the parking lot, so when we weren't in our rooms we kept our belongings locked in the car. As noted, both rooms had either live and/or dead cockroaches. I had one crawl across my arm while trying to sleep. The bathroom doors were filthy, as was the floors and the corners of the rooms. The bathtubs had cigarette burn stains, chips missing out of the tubs. The bathroom vents are filthy. One room when the toilet was flushed, it leaked out of the base all over the floor. The other bathroom shower head leaked all over the wall when the water was on. Housekeeping went into one room, didn't finish making the bed and took the towel, which wasn't replaced. Didn't discover that until it was too late and had to use a hand towel to dry off with. The rooms were cheap, but we got what we paid for. Will not ever use Motel 6 again."
