「dartmoorを観光する為に２日間泊まりました。私たちがこのホテルに泊まるのは９年ぶり二度目の滞在になります。以前は施設等全体的に清潔ではあっても古めなホテルという印象でしたが、今回泊まると室内とバスルームや食堂がずいぶんお洒落になっていて驚きました。スタッフも皆さん親切でフレンドリー、朝食は別料金になりますがとてもおいしいのでぜひ食べてみることをおすすめします。９年前は霧と雨で窓からは何も見ることができなかったのですが、今回は良いお天気で、窓からPlymouthの町が一望できて最高でした。」

「地図で見ると周りに何も目的になるものがなかったので心配したが、実際行ってみるととてもわかりやすく、しかも英国のカントリーサイドにふさわしい、すばらしい環境の所に建っていた。朝食をとった部屋の雰囲気も抜群で、日本では味わえない優雅な気持ちにさせられた。夕食はいつもバーで軽く飲み、スターターなどで十分で、この日もホテルの雰囲気のいいバーでのひとときを満喫できた。余り日本人は来ないそうだが、susiやtempuraのメニューがあった。シェフが日本で修業したことがあるので取り入れているとのことだった。」

「Really comfortable B&B, the owners were really hospitable and the breakfasts were prob one of the best I have ever had. Dog friendly and super cute that they provided dog treats in the room. Only small thing is the jacuzzi was wood fired and they needed 6 hours notice if you wanted to use it and felt there was a bit of reluctance around asking to use it. 」

「This was by far and away the Best Hotel that I and my brother in law plus wives have ever stayed in for a short break. The food including evening meals were of a quality seen on Masterchef. The staff were so professional and made every effort to make our stay memorable, nothing was too much trouble. No I am not related to the owners but Fantastic is how I would explain this experience. 「Overall this hotel was lovely and a wonderful location. Positives The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We stayed in a pet friendly garden suite which was ideal, the hotel food was fabulous and the spa was clean with a lovely pool, steam and sauna rooms. We did have a leak in our bathroom coming from upstairs which wasn't fixed and also there was some noise coming from upstairs. Housekeeping only came once in three days and didn't fully clean, I did mention this on the last day but...

「Absolutely fabulous few days away. This is a real gem of a hotel. Quiet and secluded but a real joy to experience. The staff are so helpful and genuine (Rosie, Sharon and Oliver deserve medals) There was plenty of choice for breakfast, the cooked breakfast was tasty and well presented. The evening dinner menu and quality of food was 10/10. I think it could be even better with a slightly extended menu. We will be back x」
