"I found the hotel perfect for a short stay in Torquay. Only a 10 minute walk to the seafront and free parking just outside the entrance. I had a lovely cooked breakfast every morning with some extra treats. Really friendly place and I'm going back there in the summer. I'm using the hotel as a base to meet my friends who return to Torquay twice a year."

" Overall this nice little BnB is very good. The hostess is very friendly and helpful with local sights etc. Unfortunately our stay was spoilt by a very uncomfortable mattress.There was a slant to the room which caused feet higher than head. Had to move around bedding and place cushions under mattress, but still could not sleep. The curtains were too thin, so at 530am the room was very bright. We booked for 3 nights, but left after 2 due to lack of sleep."

"We got a lovely warm welcome with coffee and a friendly chat on arrival. Our luggage was taken up to our room for us. The room was spotless and very comfy. The choice of breakfast was superb and the host was a great cook. The location is great with it being just over five to walk to the town and the train station. We will definitely use this guest house again if back in the area."

"The staff is very friendly and helpful, made us feel very welcome. They were very flexible on the check in and check out. We chose this place because it had a family room and of its location. Only 5 mins to the beach and main food street. The downside is the parking is not available but there is a paid parking storey opposite so was fine and we enjoyed our stay!!"
