"We have stayed at Astor house before so we came back to the same apartment. They had upgraded the sofas to recliners which was a nice surprise. The apartment itself is easy to get to clean and Torquay town centre is a short walk away. It has a great view over the beach side of Torquay and the area is quiet. "We enjoyed our stay and we would go back. But the yacht club down the road played really loud music until about 10.07pm, Friday and Saturday night !!!! which ruined our relaxing weekend. Which was not the fault of the hotel. Breakfast was good, rooms were dated but clean. The views were excellent. Cold water pressure was low in our room. Enjoyed the pool and the steam room. And we found the staff all polite and very helpful."
