「We stayed with Sharon and Steve while walking the Two Moors Way and they were brilliant from start to finish. They went above and beyond to look after us, nothing was too much trouble after a long day on the trail. The food was excellent, proper home-cooked breakfast that was exactly what we needed to refuel. Sharon and Steve are genuinely lovely hosts, warm, welcoming and easy to talk to. The location is great and we'd happily stay again and would recommend them to anyone passing through.」

「the staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The biggest wow was their amazing menus for breakfast an evening meal. All cooked to perfection and every bit the epitome of careful professional presentation and flavour.

「Clean and quiet, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful, even when I’d asked about a bowling club in Modbury that a family member used, the lovely bar staff said she’d find out for me.
Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble

「The property was easily found by using a Sat Nav.
The property inside and outside was very clean. There is a narrow gravel drive up to the property so Parking was in the village square which was a short walk around the outside of the pub, so not recommended for disabled as there is also steps up to the entrance door.
The entrance was a wooden decking which had a range of colorful potted plants and well maintained.
The owner was very helpful with directions and places to visit and eat...

「One of the best properties we’ve stayed in! We had a great time - the rooms are stunning, there is so much to do around the property and yet, it was peaceful and intimate at the same time. Highly recommend having all your meals there - the food and staff were a big highlight of our stay. We will definitely be back!」

「Lovely peaceful spot in a rural location. The Barn was very clean and the scones and fizz were a lovely gesture. The only complaint would be that the matress in the double room is quite hard and uncomfortable but other than that we had a lovely stay.」
