Only issue that I can mention was the fact there was no one at the pool reception when we went for our first swim. A guest had to show me how to access. Consequently I went into the members changing room then when I eventually spoke to a girl she informed me I should not be there but to go to the other changing room. Had to ask for a tag. 2nd day no problem and helpful staff. Breakfast amazing It was my birthday and they gave me a little gift. Will definitely be going back

Checked out on arrival as the room had no air conditioning and the temperature of the room was at least 45 degrees, we were offered a fan but this would not have helped. The room was also really small, with an unpleasant smell but it was nicely furnished.Requested another room as apparently some rooms do have a.c. (The hallway leading to the room was a pleasant temperature) we were told they were fully booked (although Trivago showed 3 rooms available when we looked for somewhere else) Thankfully we received full refund.

The hotel looked amazing with lovely features, staff courteous and we enjoyed the spa. The only downside was the noise in the room from the fridge! The brasserie food was outstanding and we would definitely go back.

This stay was absolutely amazing. The room was clean and comfortable. No noise in the hallway at night at all. Alex who checked us in and out couldn’t have been more helpful. The spa was lovely and clean and made us feel extremely relaxed. We will be back again 😊

Really liked this hotel. The customer service was beautiful. I can’t remember the last time I stayed in a hotel which such good customer service, and I stay in a lot of hotels. Room was clean, comfortable and well equipped. Nice ambience in the bar area and a lovely spa. Excellent hotel gym.

This was an unexpected and unique gem of a hotel Beautiful setting , comfortable rooms, exceptional dining and spa facilities and staff Nice place to stop between Cornwall and London Would love to go back if I ever get a chance!
