"A lovely, clean, modern hotel. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast options were vast and tasted great. The spa facilities were plentiful. The staff couldn’t be more helpful. Overall a fabulous hotel that we’d definitely stay in again."

"Welcoming staff who were helpful and friendly. Of particular note are Bo at reception who quickly helped to resolve an issue upon arrival, and Alex the bar tender who was so friendly and great with his cocktail making skills! Good facilities and an excellent central location. Breakfast very good value. Thank you for a lovely stay. "

"The cleanliness was awful. The room smelt terrible, there was mold by the windows. The toilet had yellow stains. There was haur in the bath. Clothes were still left in the cupboard. The shower didnt ket you change the temperature. The continektal breakfast consisted of cheese and ham. Despite all this, the staff were lovely and the view was amazing. The restaurant only had one member of staff, but she was super helpful."

"The affordability of the hotel made the trip possible. Room is small but not squished and makes excellent use of space. Everything is very good quality. Lots of lovely touches like wine and cheese at reception. Very central so a great base to explore."

"This place is so adorable! Super accommodating staff and parking right up front for loading with long stay parking right around the corner. Also seems like a very fun, hip area right near a college, restaurants and river walks. :)"

"Our room was definitely a hideout! It was warm, clean and ready to be used by us. Staff were welcoming and tried their best to accommodate. Breakfast was definitely worth it, and the lady was very bubbly which makes all the difference on a morning. Food catered for us as we are vegetarian. We booked the hideout because it cane with a private hot tub, it was the first time myself and my husband cane away without the kids after 14 years! Unfortunately, it was either too hot or almost cold. Over the 2 day stay we weren’t able to use it which made us sad. Staff tried to help but just couldn’t get it right. A a gesture, we were refunded a small amount of money back. But now reflecting on it, our 2 days away were very expensive as we didn’t get to use the tub. Any how, I loved the hotel and would definitely book again because it has small touches that other hotels don’t have. Thank you very much for a lovely stay. "

"Gorgeous building, room and well maintained gardens, however for a 5* hotel the service was poor, the staff seemed less than enthusiastic towards guests and there was no feeling of warmth or welcome from them. Possibly because they where so few in number. The hotel seriously lacks enough staff to provide much of a service. They hardly provide you with any extras in the room with only 2 coffee pods provided each day with nothing other than coffee top ups provided beyond the first day. The spa area was fantastic, 10 years ago but now its very worn and showing its age.I couldnt believe that for this level of hotel how dirty and unclean it was. Brown tide marks around the pool, black mould on the shower heads in the thermal area and the ice room smelt mouldy and was covered in black mould especially around the tube where the ice came out, the shower head and the cubicle. All the fancy showers in the thermal area didnt work as they should or didnt work at all. Most of the thermal pool jets didnt work apart from the odd few, tiles were missing, dirty windows and unclean floors. This hotel whilst lovely needs to seriously look at the service it is providing especially to guests who stay beyond a couple of days and invest maintenance and a deep clean of its spa area. Sadly this was far from a five star experience. "
