LSE Carr-Saunders Hall - Campus Accommodation

LSE Carr-Saunders Hall - Campus Accommodation

10/10 Excellent
"I had low expectations when booking this room but it turned out to be a very pleasant stay! I was here for one night and would recommend it for solo or couple travellers for it's cheap cost. The room was spacious, the bedding and towels were clean, but there were dust on the furniture and on the sink. I am very happy that there is a SINK IN THE ROOM -it's not made clear it's in your room and it is so beneficial to have when sharing toilets. I had no noise issues-this was on a review that initially put me off, but I'm glad it didn't turn out to be the case! The doors do close loudly when closes by itself. Only noise was outside. The shared bathroom was ok, it was kept clean. The shower was nice but would be good if they put in larger hooks for your items - I had to put my clothes on the floor and cover w a towel so it wouldn't get wet. They have large stick-on hooks in the bedroom, they can use that in the shower cubicles. The pressure and temp of shower was good. My only quarrel with my stay was the persistence of the housekeeping in the morning. They started knocking about 10:10am to come in and clean, which is ok for knocking once, but they didn't stop until half past. Check out IS 10:30am. They knocked about 4 extra times. Sorry to say but the rooms aren't even that clean to be so persistent. The staff at reception were helpful and informative upon check in. It is 24/7 staffed, I felt safe coming back near 1am. I would definitely stay at this chain of accommodation again"
