"This hotel has great rooms for cheap prices. Our room had a complication but the hotel staff upgraded our room no questions asked and were very apologetic for the issue. 4 stars. I'd give it 5 stars if there wasn't an issue with the original room, but how the staff reacted to the issue was exceptional!"

"This was perfect for our short stay in Kyoto. Room service was excellent, the rooms are a little small but it seems to be the case in Japan :) we both loved the thoughtfulness and care for all the amenities and little touches in the room and the staff were wonderful and really helpful. Having laundry in the hotel was useful although the dryer is not too strong so you may need to run multiple rounds. "I had such a relaxing stay! I was so impressed by all the amenities and my room was so comfortable. The common room is very inviting and I loved how there was always tea available. Big plus is the onsen bath and clean and spacious shower room! Really enjoyed my stay and definitely will be back."
