"Very good location to stay in Kyoto. In the center of Kyoto and very near to Kyoto train station"

"The room is very clean, and plenty of space consider it's in Japan where most hotel room are small, the hot bath is very nice and clean. Service is excellent, breakfast was very good."

"Delicious breakfast, lovely, kind and helpful staff, peaceful and comfortable lodging, and amazing location! Really the highlight of our visit to Japan! Would highly recommend!"

"Wonderful experience, great location, friendly lovely hosts."

"Wonderful place to stay! The townhouse was a work of art and everything was very clean."

"Very nice accomodation, with very pleasant and kind owners. A very good position to visit the city. Rent of bicycles is advised. "

"BLACK MOLD, don’t book. I don’t like to leave bad reviews but this is a real health concern. The woman asked to “clean” it and offered another took but the while building smelled like mold. You can’t simply clean mold. You need to have it professionally removed. I understand Japan is humid and the bathroom is wet but other hotels offer a dehumidifier. We decided not to stay and we could not get a refund. Truly sucks since we couldn’t see the place until we checked in."

"Very traditional from your normal hotel. Close to teain station and many restaraunts near. Staff was by far the most helpful with anything you needed. Small breakfast area on Floor 2 each day "

"Good location, friendly owners. "

"Breakfast option is a must. If you want traditional Japanese stay experience this is the place. The staff goes out of the way to make your stay special. "

"The worst place to have one night stay. This is not a Ryokan in fact. Trust me. You shiukd have enough time to make decision!"

"It was really difficult to find the way to the Inn, and that area is absolutely quiet (nothing to do) after 6pm. If you enjoy quiet night, it is your choice. Otherwise, the stay is comfortable and the Japanese breakfast is super."
