"Lovely little hotel in a wonderful part of Kyoto. Was very close to all the shopping and the Nishiki Market. The rooms were a nice size and very comfortable. The 4 stars is because they clean the room every 3 days (although you can request more but got the feeling this was bit frowned upon)"

"Very clean and well located. Just around the corner from train station with good eateries nearby and many sites within walking distance or a train/bus ride away. Rooms are generously sized for Japan standards (didn't feel like a closet). We enjoyed our stay and would come back again. "

"Close to the rail station. A decent sized room spoilt by having a double bed pushed against a wall, and the quilt cover being too big ( each night the actual duvet moved to the bottom of the bed - very uncomfotable. The bed needs to be away from the wall."

"The spa was relaxing and a novel experience. Make sure you read up on Japanese bath customs before you decide to visit it! The staff was courteous and helpful. The Blossom restaurant is worth visiting. The breakfast buffet is delicious, but the dinner is even better. My husband could not stop raving about the phenomenal steak he ate! While in Kyoto, I would definitely stay at the Blossom."
