"I stayed here for 3 nights with my family of 4. The property is definitely in need of updates. The rooms are bare bones…broken dresser, no tv remote, busted lamps, weird outlet wiring. The beds are decent but it was very hard to sleep with all of the noise. Between the cars revving engines, doors slamming at all hours, walls so thin I could hear my neighbors sleep apnea, two random guys screaming at 1 am, and animals scampering on the roof it was impossible to sleep. Stairways were filthy and ln disrepair. The only saving grace was the wonderful maid that cleaned each morning and the location….The sunsets can’t be beat. I won’t be staying here again. "

"I stayed here on an Anniversary trip. The hotel itself is cute! There is however, room for improvement. Everything needs a deep cleaning, carpet needs to be removed, outlets need to be checked on a regular. If you’re going to offer a voucher for “free breakfast”, at least offer more than three meal options. Also, the website states two s’mores per visit. They claim that is what you receive in the one package that they give you (although they did offer another one). I also believe the hotel has water damage issues that they should be tending to right away. Other than those issues, the hotel is nice and have wonderful potential. "

"Absolutely lovely room with an amazing view of the bay! It was clean and the bed was comfortable! The front desk staff were very friendly. A complementary continental breakfast was served over at the Tides Restaurant as part of the room fee, and it is served to you by the waitstaff, rather than buffet style. The only complaint, and it may be a big one for some, is the incessant fog horn that blows all night in the bay. You can’t help but hear it, because you almost have to open the windows, because our room had no air-conditioning, understandably, due to the year-round comfortable temperatures. I have read that some people don’t even hear the foghorn, because they’re so used to it, but I was thankful to have had some earbuds I was able to use while sleeping. If the noise won’t bother you, or if you have noise canceling headphones you can sleep with, then this would be a great place to stay!"

"The staff at this hotel is amazing. The only downside is the pool was undergoing maintenance. Otherwise, the hotel is in a perfect location for all your travel needs. "

"Very convenient location. Lovely corner room view. Reasonably priced. We walked almost everywhere, incl Fisherman's Wharf, for dinner. (It's an uphill walk back...)"

"Maria at the front desk was very helpful, smiling and gave us a quieter room facing the courtyard. Hotel may look outdated from outside but well renovated inside. Rooms and common spaces were clean. Plenty of under and overground parking. Walking distance to shops, pier and restaurants. Arcades, games, vending machines, water station etc are also a plus."
