This hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to the Pier area, Ghirardelli Chocolate and the Hyde Street Cable Car station, free breakfast was a plus (eggs and sausage every day on rotation of different types, toast, bagels, muffins, fresh fruit, waffle station, and coffee/tea). The room was recently upgraded w/ TV and fridge, no microwave in room, comfortable beds, the shower head could use replacing (it didn't spray wide and only focused its low pressure spray on a 3" target, a wider spray head would have made it easier to shower) also the windows were only single pane, and in need of replacement, sound from Lombard Street carried through them even on the 10th floor. Parking on site was nice but very tight to drive any car through for $35/day. Felt safe the entire time at hotel, not in what appeared to be a bad area of SF with very little homeless people around. Overall an okay hotel with free breakfast and on site parking.
