This hotel was disappointing. There were no on-site amenities in terms of dining. The small lobby area had a bar and some seating but all of this was closed and out of service. We were told it was permanently closed. We were told if we wanted any food or drinks onsite we would have to bring take out from a restaurant. There were not many options for dining in the immediate area around the hotel. Very few restaurants were opened around the hotel later than 8:30pm and you had to walk several blocks. The immediate area around the hotel was pleasant with lots of shops (Nordstrom, Saks, Macy's), but walking a few blocks away felt quite unsafe - especially at night.
The staff at the hotel was not particularly helpful in offering suggestions on places to go to eat, and often times there was no one at the desk area to offer any assistance. The hotel building must be quite old as the building has a very musty smell, especially in the guest room we stayed in. Rooms are small but acceptable. They are incredibly dark though - many rooms are positioned that their only window is into a tiny "courtyard" that seems to just hold construction/reno equipment, and does not let in much day light. It would be helpful to have might lights insight the room as it was quite hard to see and get ready.
