Landmark hotel on Nob Hill. Very welcoming and relaxing place from which to explore San Francisco by public transport and on foot. Staying there was a treat and a great experience. Definitely try the restaurant, the food is excellent. Would love to go back!

Perfect location! Lovely room with traditional decor and amenities including dresser drawers, hangers, iron as well as a tub mat to prevent slipping and modern charging station, large desk. Staff was wonderful in all areas. Icing on the cake was the views from the Top of The Mark. We could not have been happier in our 6 days at the hotel and will definitely return to this hotel.

We love staying at the InterContinental Mark Hopkins and it has become our go-to hotel in San Francisco. The location on Nob Hill is fantastic, with beautiful views and so much old-world charm and character. It really feels like a classic San Francisco experience. We were able to walk to North Beach, Chinatown, and the Ferry Building, and after a long day of exploring, taking the cable car back up the hill to the hotel was such a fun and convenient option. The beds were very comfortable, the staff was always helpful, and the hotel itself is charming and full of history. We always enjoy our stays here and will definitely continue coming back.

Clean and well maintained hotel despite being historical, and only two dining facilities are available. Location on top of a long sloping hill so not readily accessible by walking. Staff approachable but not super helpful.

this stay from check in to check out was phenomenal. the best staff (we love you sal!), location, top of the market afternoon cocktail, and overall experience - could not have topped off our trip more perfectly.
