「We were given a room that look directly out onto Hwy. 101, a major highway for the area. The room was not sound proof and the highway noise made for a night of little sleep. The hotel has over 100 rooms and there were very few guests the night we were there so there were other rooms available, and 3/4 of them did not directly face the highway. We are in our 80's so maybe they thought we wouldn't notice. We do take some responsibility for not immediately going back to the desk and asking for...
