"The good- the staff was friendly and welcoming. The location is top notch, with amazing views and plenty of comfortable beach loungers. We snorkeled at the beach and there was coral and fish very close by. We had fun during the day at the beach lounging, walking, swimming, and reading. The bad- upon arrival, they told us we needed to pay “the other half” of what we owed. We had already paid in full on hotels.com, though apparently this was a mistake, that was supposed to only be half the price....

"Incredible experience, staying in a beautiful family house with our hosts Juan and Lidi who were so welcoming and friendly. The room has A/C, a fan and it's a very comfortable open house with plenty of space."

"If you're visiting from far away like the United States or on a special trip, I'd recommend staying at the Blue Apple Beach Club instead. You don't want to cheap on the little stuff on a vacation. The room was advertisied as having Wifi, and it did not have Wifi or cell signal. Youll have to walk by the pool area to make calls. Also the bathroom has black mold around the sink, and the shower water temperature doesn't get warm or hot. Those basic comforts make a big difference on a vacation, so I...

"It was the peace and relaxation I needed I was solo for the first time and they set me mind at ease. I felt safe and knew everything was in order as requested. The vibe, the staff, the owner were amazing. Akil, Moli (sorry if I misspelled her name) the lady’s in the kitchen and her daughter, made you feel like family. I felt like that was my nana. If you down for peace and nature, minimal living at its finest."

"It was clean. It is like a tiki hut. No wifi, no tv. Updated bathroom. They had a nice private plunge pool. They came and took dinner order. It took awhile to get dinner, but they are walking up mountain. It is not for anyone who can't do a lot of stairs. I would have liked a blanket on the bed and hot water. Overall, I recommend this to anyone who wants to enjoy nature and the person they are with. "

"We had a great time at Hotel Fenix. The staff is friendly and very helpful, The onsite restaurant had plenty of food options and you can't beat the location. "

"The staff was super kind and helpful, they have a transfer service from and to the city by boat between 10am and 5pm. The cabin I chose had AC and the bar has quite a nice menu for food and drinks. Basic amenities but just fine, the guys will help you in whatever way they can and you won't be pestered so much by vendors. On the other hand, they should think about installing some catch-fly lights cause insects can be really annoying, especially when eating."

"All ok. Fruit could be ALOT FRESHER, day after day it was old and colorless. Barely eatable. Quality control for fruit. The cooked breakfast excellent"
