"A good location if you don’t mind to use a taxi or uber to visit the old town"

"Room was great. Staff was great. You will want to uber if you go anywhere but the beach. If you're alone they allow 1 free visitor, you have to pay for more visits."

"Reception was OK. Most of the staff were cordial, notably the young men serving in the restaurant and those working in the baggage area in the lobby, and the pool attendants. The room had a tiny dribble of cold water in the shower, no water at all (literally) in the taps of the bath tub, and a usable but small amount of cold water in the sink. We ended up taking our showers in the jacuzzi area several floors below our room, which was challenging because there are no bathrobes provided, On arrival the kettle in the room worked, which we needed because no drinkable water was available in the room or in the public spaces, (apart from one container of juice 11 floors below in the lobby), After boiling one kettlefull of water it ceased to work. It was not difficult to get it replaced, however. At checkout we were charged for minibar items that we did not even know were in the minibar and certainly had not consumed. The taxi drivers were very pleasant but I would prefer not to have been reminded to tip them. I always tip generously, there is no need to ask me for a tip."

"Amazing property, history and arquitecture, however the service was not the best, i was there 5 years ago with my husband and the service was outstanding compare to this time around. Sadly, it has left me with a disappointing feeling as this is an outstanding hotel. Please ask foe late check out and they informed me that we were OK to stay until 1 PM. However, they keep pressuring my dad to leave at noon the room and told him that he was past his check out time, really rudely and he was going to get charged. Also, we were supposed to do the tour of the hotel at 5 PM and the tour guy showed up at 5:30 and he was completely unprepared and didnt really know much of the history of the hotel. Definitely the service is not as it used to be.."
