"Beautiful views, comfy beds, a place to relax. Nancy is wonderful at communicating. The pool area was great. Our dogs enjoyed looking out of all the windows and going for walks around the property. We were able to use the fire pit and make s’mores. Great memories. "

" Parking area was secure and convenient. Rooms were clean. That's the best I can say. Property is old and I heard it was just sold and the new owner will upgrade the facilities. Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant had very basic menu, more like bar food. Very limited. No coffee, had to get it in the lobby. No breakfast available in restaurant-just some "pastries" in plastic bags and coffee dispenser in lobby. Toilet broke down at 11 p.m., no maintenance staff on duty. Had to get luggage cart and change rooms on my own. No valet service-all luggage handled personally with luggage cart. Only one elevator to use. Dated furniture in room. One lamp out, no bulb replacement. Hall light near elevator out. Great location. Los Gatos is a beautiful town. Probably wouldn't stay there again until it is updated. RIght now it's a place frozen in time-maybe 1980. The new owner could turn this into a first class place appropriate to the town."

"Wonderful older otel saint and tradition. Clean excellent rooms. Towering cypress trees and a rose garden. beautiful neighborhood. Short walk to town square and shopping, restaurants. Great for avoiding modern sterility. Clean room and bath, easy free parking."

"Upon arrival I was told to move my vehicle from where I parked it because of others needing to park. I moved it twice, because the owner told me in a ride condescending manner. I ended up during my stay, parking in the same space that I was told to move from when I first arrived, because of the tight parking that was available. It is not appropriate for the location. The kitchen was dirty. The stove had grease all over, the available utensils where a Hodge podge collection, they're was no pots or pans for cooking available, the oven was filthy with burnt food. There was an ant and spider problem. The bed sank in so bad like it was a giant pillow. The bathroom had left over items from previous people. A couple of condoms in the medicine cabinet, along with a dirty used deodorant stick, a rusted fingernail clipper, a plastic bottle filled with unknown dirty looking fluid, a couple of hair dye boxes, used raiser, and other odd stuff. The outside of the property was left had trash all around it. The outside patio furniture was aged, sun baked and dirty. It was not like in the photos at all. I would advise that no one rent this property. It was a horrible stay. Not worth the drive it took up the mountain to get to. I have pictures of it all. I didn't leave because I had a funeral to attend to that was going to be over the next few days and couldn't find another place to stay in such short notice."

"A hidden gem just outside of downtown Los Gatos. The property is beautifully manicured, the house is immaculate, and equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. Our dog very much enjoyed the open areas to romp and I enjoyed relaxing evenings on the patio listening to the sounds of the frogs and the wind in the trees. Our host, Rezan, was so kind and thoughtful. Our communication was excellent, and we even had fresh croissants shared with us, and a beautiful token to take home as a memory. It's the type of place that makes you want to stay forever."

"Be aware this is primarily a loft sleeping situation. If that doesn’t put you off, you will love this location. Private, secluded though not far from the center of town or Saratoga. Ideal if you want to do your own cooking or need a caffeine fix before you head out. We were sorry our stay was so short and we didn’t have time to enjoy the garden more."

"Pros:The property is located in a desirable neighborhood close to downtown Los Gatos, a beautiful and upscale neighborhood just off the highway 9. The host(s) were friendly and allowed early check-in.The property allows dog(s), and I was able to bring my 2 Cavalier King Charles Spaniels that are well-behaved and trained. Karen enjoyed meeting my dogs.CONS:The photos are a fake story. In Reality, the grounds are not well kept & property overall needs updating. It is easy to slide down the stairs to enter the property because there is a lot of brush debris. Not kid, elderly or disabled friendly property.It smells of must, possibly a black mold smell. The smell is strong and hits your senses immediately upon opening the door. I opened the windows to air the place out, but it returns fiercely when the windows are shut. I would NOT recommend this place if you have allergies to dust, mold or pollen. It is NOT a clean place to stay. It's extremely dusty, ant and bug traps all around the interior of unit. Dirty windows and window sills. I was informed by Host Humphrey that I will receive a cleaning refund. He NEVER refunded. Bad Business! The tub was filthy like it had not been cleaned in months. The toilet had personal body hair on the edge of the toilet rim. I didn't sit down on the toilet and wore slippers around the house. I had to WASH THE TUB AND TOILET MYSELF. I wore slippers in the shower because it was too gross to put my feet in the tub."
