Granada Hotel Santa Clara

4/10 Poor

"7 (out of 10) star hotel. Not enough towels for 2 bed room. I think there was only one big towel. Shower door did not and could not entirely close. New shampoo bottle appeared on 2nd or 3rd day of stay that was not there before. Heard noises from room above us. Seems like a little louder than it should be. Room look liked a 2.5 - 3 star room. Would not go there again."

"I wouldn't choose this property again. When I checked in, I asked if it was possible to adjust my check out date due to a change in family obligations. I was told that since I'd booked through a third party (Hotels.com) that only they could adjust my reservation. I spent the next four days going back and forth between the hotel and hotels.com, each telling me they could not make the decision on whether I would be charged for the night I no longer needed. Finally, as I was checking out early in person I spoke with Chris the hotel director and he told me that I would not be charged as long as Hotels.com agreed. I sent a follow up to Hotels.com and gave the representative his name. They said they called and spoke with him, and he refused to refund the final night. I spent my time at this hotel being given the run around because nobody would own the decision to not adjust my booking. If they had been honest up front, I could have moved on, accepted that I would be charged, and enjoyed my trip. I would not give them my business again."
