The 1 bedroom suite with a pull out sofa in sitting area, is listed as sleeps 4. Unfortunately the pull out couch could not even sleep 1. Metal bars running across all three sections making it impossible to sleep. My husband is in town for medical treatment, which requires this type of sleeping arrangement for 2 adult guests. The room smelled of dog urine, multiple stains in sitting area (room 331) the side exit door that had a sign that said it was locked 24/7, use room key, was not locked ever. Lock non functioning. The front desk staff was very nice, and the lobby and breakfast area was well stocked and clean.

I wish breakfast was more than bread and drinks, but the facility was excellent. I was surprised at how quiet it actually was considering the freeway was right next to us :)

The room was a nice size but not very clean; the couch in the suite had a few stains, the sheets had a small stain and when we requested additional towels they left them on a pile on the floor outside our front door. Aside from that, the complimentary breakfast with the waffle maker and hard boiled eggs was simple but nice and convenient.

The first room I was given had a strong urine odor. The 2nd room was better but still had a slight odor. The property overall is a bit rundown with stained carpet. The bed was clean though. And the staff was very nice.

I couldn't eat the breakfast options, all white bread and processed food. No fresh options. Hotel hallway carpets have many stains including large bleach stains. Couch was too filthy to sit on. Staff was pleasant and helpful when they were present but were gone for more than 20 minutes in the key checkout period, which made it challenging to check out on time for my meeting/training.

The rooms were nice and tidy, our stay was OK. The outdoor pool was very dirty. The spa was out of order, which was not properly disclosed at the time of booking. We booked the (rather expensive) motel mainly because of the pool and spa for the kids. We arrived at 1am, and all parking spots were taken (some trucks/trailers were parked horizontally). The receptionist shrugged off all responsibility. There is no nearby outdoor parking.

Breakfast was extremely limited. Front desk service bordered on unfriendly. No eye contact was made with me and no words of welcome on arrival or thanks upon departure. The tissue box in the bathroom was missing. I had to call front desk and ask for one to brought to me. I bottle of water cost $6, whereas when I stay at the Marriott Courtyard, water bottles are provided in the room and additional ones are provided at no cost. I also was told I had to pay for parking. The carpets in the hallways and room were littered with small bits of debris, and contained multitudes of stains. I would never rebook a stay at La Quinta. The only positive thing I can say is that the bed was comfortable.
