"This was without a doubt our favorite stay in Switzerland. Sunstar Hotel in Grindelwald is simply amazing—the views, the atmosphere, the service, and the location are all outstanding. The staff made us feel so welcome, and the hotel itself has a warm, inviting charm. But what truly took our breath away was the view from our room. Waking up to those stunning mountains felt like waking up in heaven—an experience that fills you with gratitude. We will always remember our stay here and cannot wait to return. "Very comfortable. Make sure you familiarize yourself with the amenities. I missed the laundry because the map was in the key folder which my husband had and didn't look at. Loved the free drinks in the mini fridge, nice lobby beverage area as well. Get dinner reservations if the weather is bad. It's an older hotel that is nicely renovated. I discovered that the windows fully open, which would have been nice to know when the room needed a cool down. The AC can be a bit slow. There's nice coffee shops around. Don't miss walking around oldtown. Lovely lunch spot at the Little Oak Rd. "
